Vintage Fall 1992 Archival Deadstock Escada Mondrian Colorblock Patchwork Suede Leather Over the Knee Flat Boots - 37 / 6.5

These incredible, over-the-knee, never-worn boots are from the Fall Winter 1992 collection of designer label Escada by Margaretha Ley. She was known for mixing textures, colors and prints to create interesting pieces that had an effortless richness to them. These boots are no exception, with their Mondrian-inspired color blocking design. These are truly a collector piece worthy of display.

Toe is slightly tapered and on the narrow side. Top of boot can be folded over to expose black suede inner. Colors are red, fuchsia, yellow, and cobalt blue. Note: furry/feather cuff appearing in photo is not a part of the boot.

Condition: Unworn. Outsole has a few scratches on the heel surface but otherwise perfect condition.

Original price $735 (approx $1500 in today’s dollars adjusted for inflation). Originally purchased from the Oval Room at Dayton’s department store in Minneapolis. Comes with original receipt dated 1/14/93.
