The shop was named after Jahna’s Grandma Rosella. While Rosella, my Grandpa Omar and their family of six children didn’t have much money, she took pride in looking nice—her hair and nails were always done. A daughter of German-Polish immigrants, a child of the Great Depression and a WWII army wife, she was used to making the most of what she had, rewearing, repairing and repurposing clothing with her trusty Singer sewing machine. It was second nature for her to prolong the life of her clothing.
