Vintage 1940s Navy Dot Print Cotton Sleeveless Sailor Collar Midi Dress - M
This dot print 1940s cotton dress is perfect for summer months. It features:
• Navy blue & white abstract-dot print
• Fit & flare silhouette
• Sailor-inspired folded collar with tie at front in reverse print fabric
• Button-front closure all the way down
• Inserts at skirt in reverse print fabric
• There are tiny belt loops at the waist but no belt
• Midi length
• Unlined
• No labels - handmade
• Fabric appears to be cotton
• Based on the fabric, style and construction, I estimate this piece dates to the 1940s
• Care: Hand wash recommended
This item has been hand washed.
Good vintage condition. Fabric at shoulders is fairly faded; see detail photo. Dress has been mended near front of waist under button placket. There is a very faint yellow stain on skirt near hem; see detail photo. (Has been soaked and lightened somewhat but this is the best I could get it.) Priced accordingly.
Best fits size M, but please refer to measurements:

• 17" shoulder seam to seam
• 42.5" total length
